Dr. Marlies B​öhm
BVSc DSAM MMedVet(Med) DipECVIM-CA
South African, Royal College and European Recognised specialist in canine and feline internal medicine

Marlies grew up in Cape Town - but has German parents and can offer consultations in German if needed. She opened King Edward Veterinary Referral Hospital in 2008. She supervises the 4 legged security system below (or panders to their needs) and exercises her 2 horses in her spare time

2006 Diploma of the European College of Veterinary International Medicine, giving her an Internationally recognised Specialist Qualification
2006-2007 Locum medicine specialist at North Kent Referrals, an 11 vet specialist referral practice in the UK
2007 Royal College Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine
2007 South African Veterinary Council Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Melissa Scholtz
Melissa grew up in Jeffreys Bay. She started her veterinary career at Oribi Veterinary Hospital - initially at reception and later getting involved in all aspects of animal care under guidance of the late Dr Darren Glanville. In 2017 she moved to PE and started working for a dental surgeon, studying toward her dental technician qualification part time. In 2019 she realised that teeth weren't nearly as interesting as animals and joined King Edward Referrals, quickly becoming an indispensable part of the team. She has 2 cats , Mr Waffles and Stevie

Danielle Da Camara
Danny grew up on a farm in Cradock where her dad bred parrots. After a short detour as a digital application co-ordinator she started working for Müller Veterinary Clinic as a general wonder woman - doing everything from reception to stock control, invoicing and assisting Dr Müller with her patients. She joined us in Nov 2024 and continues in this role. She has a young JRT, Hunter a border collie called Faf and a horse named Supercool

The Security System

DEMI

MOCHA
Demi was adopted from the AWS in February 2024 as a 1 year old. She takes her role in security very seriously, barking at anything / everyone that is new or unusual.

Mocha was adopted from the AWS in August 2023 as a 1 year old. She looks quiet but leads from behind at home. On walks she is a tracker of note.

TOSCA
Tosca was born in Feb 2024 and was bred at the Donnehaus kennels. She is keen to investigate anything in her environment with all her senses - as my sofa , the dog beds and the irrigation system will attest to
