ECG
1 hr1 h21 King Edward Street
Service Description
This is a test that assesses the regularity of the heart beat. Most commonly it is used to determine what is going wrong with the nerve conduction through the heart when a vet picks up a heart rhythm disturbance or when the patient presents with fainting or unexplained weakness. The test is usually done as part of a broader investigation, not as a stand alone test. If indicated we can also organise a 24-48 hr (Holter) ECG that the dog wears in a harness at home for the duration of the ECG
