Here Dr Marlies inserts a thin, flexible tube with a camera and light into the animal's body so she can examine the inside of the nose, the back of the throat, inside the lungs, the oesophagus or stomach. while there we can collect samples and can occasionally remove foreign bodies. The animals are anaesthetised during the procedure.
